Deep. Intense. Traditional.

Sapphire has been treasured for thousands of years. The name sapphire is derived from the Latin word ““saphirus” and the Greek word “sapheiros,” both meaning blue. Sapphire is available in a range of beautiful colors including violet, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and intermediate hues. For centuries, sapphire has been associated with royalty and romance. In 1981, Britain’s Prince Charles gave a blue sapphire engagement ring to Lady Diana that captivated the world. In ancient Greece and Rome, kings and queens were convinced that blue sapphires protected their owners from envy and harm. Traditionally sapphire symbolizes sincerity, truth, faithfulness and nobility.

Sapphire is the birthstone for September and the gem of the 5th and 45th anniversaries.
