Jade
Tough. Beautiful. Pure.
Jade has been prized by civilizations from ancient China to the Aztecs and Mayans of Central America and crafted into weapons, tools, ornaments and ritual objects of stunning artistry. The traditional jade flat disc with a hole in the middle, known as a “bi,” symbolizes heaven. Jadeite is one of them, and the other is nephrite. Both are actually metamorphic rocks made up of tiny interlocking mineral crystals. Jade has been cherished for thousands of years for its rich heritage, beauty, durability and rarity.

Jade is the official gemstone for the 12th wedding anniversary.
Jade is rated “fair” for everyday wear with care. Avoid exposure to heat, contact with chemicals, and protect from scratches and harsh blows. To clean, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush and a solution of mild dish soap and warm water.
