Diamond rough
Diamond polished

Brilliant. Scintillating. Rare.

Diamond is one of the world’s most sought-after and adored gemstones, sparkling with an internal fire. Diamond’s name comes from the Greek word “adamas”, which means “invincible” or “unbreakable.” Diamond is the only gemstone made of just one element, carbon. It is the hardest material on earth and 58 times harder than anything else in nature. Diamonds forms under high pressure and temperature conditions that exist about 100 miles beneath the earth’s surface. Diamonds are a symbol of clarity and strength coveted by the royalty as early as the fourth century BCE.

Those born in April are lucky enough to call this scintillating gem their birthstone. Diamond is also the gem that marks the 60th and 75th wedding anniversaries.
